Outreach

Serving others like Jesus did is a fundamental principle of being a church, and we know that we can accomplish more together than we can separately. Anderson Hills Christian Church has a deep commitment to reaching out to the community, to those in need, and to those around us. Over the years, we have implemented many programs and we continue to look for opportunities to serve others outside our church building.

Coats for Kids

Working with local school counselors, we help to meet the needs of elementary school children who struggle to stay warm during the cold months by providing new coats, hats, and gloves for these children.

Racetrack Ministry

Seasonal racetrack workers often have very poor living conditions and struggle for decent housing and food for themselves and their families. Our church (and other churches) takes turns preparing and serving a warm meal to these hard workers.

Southeastern Ecumenical Ministries

AHCC and SEM have worked together for years to fight food insecurity and improve people’s well-being through the SEM food pantry.  By holding regular food and personal care item drives, AHCC is able to help SEM meet our community's needs.

Matthew 25: Ministries

Matthew 25: Ministries, located in Cincinnati, is an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization that serves 20 million people in need each year. AHCC does hands-on volunteering with Matthew 25 several times a year, as well as collecting empty prescription bottles and serving as a collection point for clothing donations.
