Other Ways to be INvolved

Weekly Prayer Group

Anderson Hills Christian Church believes in the power of prayer and the ways that it connects us to God, strengthens our faith, and enriches others’ lives. Our Prayer group meets on Wednesday mornings to pray together. The group members also keep a list of prayer requests, some confidential only to that group, that each person prays for daily.

If you would like the Prayer group to say a prayer on your behalf, please submit a prayer request.

Topical Bible Studies

Throughout the year, we offer opportunities for study and discussion. Some of these cover a topic, such as spiritual disciplines or church history, while others are seasonal, offering a deeper immersion into the holy seasons of Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter.

The Fun Lunch Bunch

Jesus enjoyed lots of table fellowship and so do we! One weekday a month, we meet for lunch and fellowship at a local restaurant. No meeting, no agenda, just enjoying the company of each other.

Walking Club

In the spring and summer months, all are invited to walk together at a local park on Tuesday evenings. The goal is to spend time together outside of church, get a little exercise, enjoy nature, and chat about anything and everything.

Anderson Churches for Racial Unity

Anderson Hills Christian Church belongs to the Anderson Churches for Racial Unity (ACRU) association of 10 (and growing) local churches to raise awareness regarding issues of racism.  Along with Greater Anderson Promotes Peace (GAPP), these organizations build individual and congregational relationships between people of color and white people. Through interesting guest speakers, film discussions, book studies, etc., this organization hopes to promote inclusion and solutions for racism.
